If the USA had been around in the time of the ottoman empire, and they’d tried to “take over” constantinople from the byzantines, then it would have been the end of the ottoman empire lol. The USA would have done a peacekeeping mission and annihilated every ottoman.
Too bad the ottomans had no one powerful enough to stop their barbaric conquest during that time.

@Ertunga The fact Greece is in crisis only makes stronger the assumption of lost Ancient Utopia that was their glorious Hellenic and Roman past. Crisis only make stronger those beliefs. I always belief migth makes rigth. Turks can own city now but I dont know what will happen various times Russians with Orthodox allies such as Greeks were on point of conquering what save Turks were many times Western Powers such as Britain or France.
@5keremy You know is hard to forgive history the fact is Greeks will never forget their Roman past so they can not forget their lost city is like Turks forget about Ottoman Empire or their ancient heritage it simply can not. The Greeks will never forget their most important city both culturaly and religiously you think Jews Muslims and Christians will ever forget Jerusalem? I do advise that at least Greeks and Turks maintaim a level of respect among each other even with their history.

The Ottoman Turks really united the Middle East, and they controlled the trade between Europe and Asia. The Ottomans were relatively tolerant when it came to other cultures.
awesome game. really enjoyed the story and setting. Both the Byzantines and the Turks contributed to history. look how the Byzantines were keeping the Middle East in check, only to be betrayed by the Catholic Church. They prevented a Muslim conquest of Europe during the Dark Ages. why do you think they tried going through Spain eventually? they couldn’t get past the Byzantines. in check, only to be betrayed by the Catholic Church.

@redblackfox23 The byzans where greeks but they considered themselves the last romans yes, but they where by all means greek. The greeks and the romans ruled the land for thousands of years and since the greeks and romans became culturally assimilated with each other you could say that its greco roman by right. Thats my opinion anyway, its been greek for a couple of thousand years, it was a european jewel of culture and civilization. Its been turkish for 600 years

I beat this game one week just playing in the weekends good game except that the Borgia takes back the Borgian Towers.
@NinjaMuzz xD The story in this game was very boring, the only thing that made sense in this story are those keys to open library, but those suleymans and other dudes, they are super confusing, i completed the game and i still have no idea what was going on there. Assassin’s Creed 2 is the best ac game, it’s story is super interesting.
